Shaun Rapkowicz: I am the occasional babysitter and the key to keeping them entertained is to not really try so hard. Whenever you see them playing or doing something(as long as it's safe and legal that is), just kind of play along with them and or join in. But then again, YOU are the one in authority when their parents are gone, so be sure you are kind of doing your own thing while you are babysitting. It's kind of a push/pull factor here. In my experience, whenever I try to join in on their activities or TRY to entertain them, they tend to get annoyed really fast. However, whenever I'm like sitting in the background working on my laptop or something and minding my own business, they never leave me alone! Jaja, just try to find a perfect balance....Show more
