October Weddings! Monterey, Tahoe, Pismo Beach?

Gaylord Barragan: I live in Monterey and can say that October is our best weather month (Indian Summer - no fog and high temps in the mid to low 70's. Great places for outdoor weddings are Lovers Point Park in Pacific Grove, the terrace at the Monterey Plaza Hotel and the outdoor deck at the Highlands Inn as well as the garden courtyard at the La Playa Hotel in Carmel. There are wedding officiants who can also marry you right on the beach (if less than 50 guests).

Marna Liddie: Tahoe has the potential of being pretty chilly. I'd say Monterrey or Pismo Beach. I have not been to either but hear nothing but good things about Monterry (also Carmel which is right nearby).

Lester Haschke: i'm having an October wedding ceremony! we would prefer to get married in 2010, yet we in simple terms found out my fiance has to purchase a clean motor vehicle, and that i prefer a clean motor vehicle as nicely, so it is going to maximum possibly finally end up in 2012 like init! ially planned. If that is in 2010 then it will be October 2. yet whilst that is in 2012 then it will be October 6.

Jerrod Guilfoil: I've heard that lake tahoe is really nice in Oct. I've never been to pismo beach or monteray. but the beach is generally cool in oct, and more so at night.

Erica Bottaro: Tahoe would be easy - and thy do a lot of weddings. The CA Coast would be more expensive I would think. Depends on your budget and size of your wedding & also where your guests are coming from. I think there are some B&B's in Pismo that might also be a good deal as well... here's a link - http://www.sanluisobispocounty.com/listings/index....
