Mario Stricklan: the anchor goes to the bottom of the body of water. mooring the boat is tying it off to the pier or something on the land.
Terrell Voltz: A mooring is usually a very large concrete block at the bottom of a sheltered harbour, to which a line and buoy is attached. A boat/yacht is then tied to this line and secured when not in use.An ancor is used for temporary situations (ie: a fishing spot)
Miguel Densley: when your moored your boat is tied to some object so it won't float away. when your at anchor your using your boat anchor to hold you in place. don't know about camping there. type catalina in your search bar and see what sites come up.
Violette Vanek: As mentioned anchoring is throwing an anchor and mooring is tieing off to something, either a dock or a mooring bouy
