Codi Manchel: Absolutely not. I just read about how the odds are against us (I am 51 and in about year and a half will have my BA in art education). We need to do it anyway. Some tips I read are: show that you are creative and willing to lean new things. I plan to read a lot of heavy reading this summer on my own in terms of educational theories; 21st century skills, and anything else to get an edge. Use every available opportunity to increase your vocabulary. When I go for a job, I hope to be full of the linguistic skills that will show I have done my homework.
